UK hospitality technology company, ariia Guest Experiences, launches PUB PASS to help pubs open safely from 4th July 2020.

PUB PASS is a free mobile app and dashboard designed to help pubs register their customers and securely store their details for 21 days, in order to comply with COVID-19 safety guidance. PUB PASS gives pubs a safe way to welcome back customers whilst ensuring they are compliant with new track and trace rules.

The launch of PUB PASS follows recent announcements from Prime Minister Boris Johnson that pubs and restaurants in England will be allowed to reopen with certain restrictions, including changes to shift patterns, mandatory table service and more use of hand sanitiser. The guidelines, which are due to be updated by the UK Government soon, state that customers will also have to give their details to staff to make contact tracing easier if another customer tests positive for the virus.

When customers arrive at a pub using PUB PASS, they simply follow instructions to download the app, scan a QR code and complete a simple and secure contact form. Pubs that want more than just customer registration can upgrade to PUB PASS+ allowing customers to browse digital menus, place orders and access information via the app.
