Estonian identity verification start-up Veriff raises $15.5m
Veriff has raised $15.5m in funding and plans to raise further capital as demand for online identity verification solutions has increased during the Covid-19 pandemic. On Wednesday (1 July), Estonian identity verification start-up Veriff announced that it has raised $15.5m to ramp up global growth and sales to enterprise customers. Founded in 2015 by Kaarel Kotkas and Janer Gorohhov, Veriff is an AI-driven start-up developing technology to ensure that people are who they claim to be.
