3D printing software startup nTopology has raised a $40 million Series C round from Insight Partners. The New York-based startup has seen major growth despite the coronavirus pandemic as engineers flock to design new tools using the company's nTop platform. "Covid has accelerated a shift away from old school enterprise sales to bottoms up from users and engineers," nTopology founder and CEO Brad Rothenberg said. 3D printing software startup nTopology has raised a $40 million Series C round amid a growth in demand during the coronavirus pandemic. nTopology had originally looked to raise $30 million to scale its R&D and grow its sales and marketing operations globally, but took in $40 million to help accelerate the process.
