OnlineMedEd Raises $20M in Funding
OnlineMedEd, an Austin, TX-based healthcare training company, raisedd $20m in funding. The company intends to use the funds to expand existing programs to health care professionals around the world. Founded in 2014 by Jamie Fitch, CEO, OnlineMedEd is a digital healthcare learning platform used by aspiring physicians and healthcare professionals to gain the knowledge needed in everyday practice. In addition to its core curriculum and the Crash Course, OnlineMedEd provides key learning modules including:CaseX – An immersive, online platform that provides learners real-life cases to apply and train clinical reasoning. Nutrition – a program that provides all providers with practical knowledge and counseling tips to utilize food as medicine.
