CarDekho Plans To Raise $150 Mn In Series E Funding, To Enter Unicorn Club
The Gurugram-based auto marketplace had last raised $70 Mn in Series D funding at a valuation of $725 MnGurugram-based automobile marketplace CarDekho is set to join India’s fast-increasing bandwagon of unicorns. According to reports, the startup is in talks with investors to raise a minimum of $150 Mn in Series E funding that will help turn the startup into a unicorn. Backed by the likes of Sequoia Capital, HDFC Bank, Hillhouse Group and Ping An Global Voyager, Cardekho has so far raised $247.5 Mn in funding. The company had last raised $70 Mn in Series D funding led by Hong Kong-based Ping An Global Voyager in 2019. With the latest funding, CarDekho will be India’s 56th Unicorn and 15th startup to enter the Unicorn club this year.
